The Procurement Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department in ensuring a consistent supply of products at the right

quality, prices, etc. He/she will support trade purchasing process, maintain suppliers' relationships, product and claim process and documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performing research to identify potential suppliers and evaluating their qualifications
  • Maintains contact with vendors regarding orders and merchandise, new products, market conditions, and trends
  • Preparing purchase orders and contracts for approval by supervisors or head
  • Coordinating with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipment
  • Maintain comprehensive procurement files, including vendors, proposals, evaluations, official contracts and correspondence on all procurements, following policies and local law.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on established criteria's such as quality, reliability and timeliness of delivery, pricing
  • Reviews and analyzes price and item proposals for comparison
  • Support Merch and finance departments to process payment to vendors.
  • Perform other task that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Management/Administration/Commerce or other related courses
  • Preferably with experience in Procurement process or in related field.
  • With strong communication skills
  • Has excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Detail-oriented and structured
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications (excel, word, etc.)
  • Willing to report in Makati Office
