NV Lawyers is the commercial litigation arm of the NV Group, a group of debt collection businesses with offices in Sydney-Australia, Auckland-New Zealand and Pasig-Metro Manila, Philippines.

NV Group is seeking to employ a Debt Recovery Paralegal.

Job Responsibilities:

  • General management and running of debt recovery files.

  • Drafting Australian legal documents.

  • Filing of Australian legal documents on-line.

  • Drafting general correspondence.

  • Negotiating payments and settlements with customers.

  • Interacting with Australian customers.

  • Seeking instructions from Australian clients.

  • Addressing client requirements.

  • Maintaining client relationships.

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Law, Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, Political Science or other allied courses.

  • Preferably with debt collection experience.

  • With Australian jurisdiction background and familiarity, particularly in the Local Court of New South Wales, is advantageous but not required.

  • Able to make legal collection calls.

  • With strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Keen eye for detail.

  • Good self-organization.

  • With desire to take responsibility for running their own files and meeting deadlines.

  • Can start immediately.
