Chief Debt Collector

We seek a highly motivated Account Recovery Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for recovering overdue accounts through consistent and sustained communication with customers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to negotiate payment arrangements with clients. They will also possess strong analytical skills to identify and resolve disputes efficiently.

The Account Recovery Specialist will work closely with the Accounts Receivable team to ensure timely resolution of customer inquiries and issues. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet or exceed performance metrics.

• Recover overdue accounts by contacting customers via phone, email, or mail.
• Establish payment arrangements with clients, encouraging them to utilize credit cards as payment options.
• Accurately document all accounts pertaining to payment arrangements and conversations with customers.
• Ensure AR contact information is routinely updated on the account.
• Locate customers' correct addresses, phone numbers, and information when needed.
• Follow up with clients on overdue accounts; respond to client account queries in a timely and professional manner.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in credit and collections, with a strong background in high-volume, fast-paced business-to-business environments. They will also possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills and excellent knowledge of billing and collection processes.
