We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator / Cutting List Engineer to join our Aluminum & uPVC Windows and Doors Division. This role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates, cutting lists, and material take-offs to support smooth fabrication and installation.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in aluminum/uPVC profiles, hardware, and glass systems, and is capable of working closely with our sales, production, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify window and door requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, and cutting lists for fabrication.
  • Optimize material usage to minimize wastage and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for updated pricing of profiles, glass, hardware, and accessories.
  • Support the sales team in preparing quotations and proposals.
  • Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure cutting lists are accurate and complete.
  • Assist in troubleshooting discrepancies between drawings, estimates, and site conditions.
  • Maintain a database of standard costs, supplier rates, and project records.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2 years of experience in estimating or cutting list preparation for aluminum/uPVC windows, doors, or façade systems.
  • Strong knowledge of profiles, hardware, and glass specifications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel (knowledge of estimating software is an advantage).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with suppliers, fabricators, and project teams.
