The Opportunity.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our Card Systems Management team. In this role, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects related to card issuance, processing, and management systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the delivery of card products and services that meet regulatory, operational, and customer requirements.

The Role.

  • Assist in planning, executing, and delivering projects related to card systems (debit, credit, prepaid, etc.) within scope, time, and budget constraints.
  • Support the implementation and upgrade of card management platforms and related integrations (e.g., core banking, fraud monitoring, payment networks).
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors to gather project requirements and track progress.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) of card systems and features.
  • Support the training and onboarding of users on new card systems functionalities.
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to internal control standards, industry regulations, and data security policies.
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

The Expertise.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking, financial services, or IT project coordination (internships or related coursework may be considered).
  • Familiarity with payment card products and card management systems preferred.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Project management certification (e.g., CAPM, Prince2 Foundation) is a plus.
