About the role

We are looking for a talented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Greenbuild Construction Services' in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our estimating and cost management activities. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing project budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  • Analyse project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify and quantify required materials and labour
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential savings and cost overruns
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective cost management
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project costs and budgets
  • Provide technical support and advice to the wider construction team

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a quantity surveying or estimating role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Proficient in using construction-specific software, such as estimating and project management tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
