About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at 11-16 Construction Corporation. As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will require you to utilize your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide accurate cost estimates and manage project finances.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  2. Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify project requirements
  3. Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to gather and validate cost data
  4. Maintain comprehensive records of project costs and variations
  5. Prepare progress reports and manage project budgets
  6. Support the team in contract administration and dispute resolution

What we're looking for

  1. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of relevant experience in a construction or quantity surveying role
  3. Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
  4. Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and MS Office suite
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  6. A team player with the ability to work collaboratively
  7. Familiarity with construction regulations and industry standards
