Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Lead Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for leading ServiceNow development efforts, with a strong focus on the IT Business Management (ITBM) modules. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with development, provide technical leadership, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, specifically within ITBM modules (Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, etc.)
  • Provide technical expertise and direction across ServiceNow development projects
  • Work closely with stakeholders and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate integration with other systems
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow configuration, scripting, and security
  • Oversee and mentor junior developers or team members as needed
  • Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment activities
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and system architecture

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with ITBM modules
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, UI Policies, Business Rules, etc.)
  • Experience with integration using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or other relevant certifications is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or CSM
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience
