About the Role:
An Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting financial operations by ensuring accuracy in money movement activities, reconciliations, and collections. The role involves monitoring transactions, triaging alerts, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency. The specialist supports month-end and year-end close activities, investigates reconciliation issues, and maintains comprehensive documentation of financial processes. This position also requires effective communication with internal teams and external partners, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving systems and organizational changes.
What you'll do:
- Monitor daily money movement activities, triage alerts, and recommend improvements.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor and apply customer collections and apply net settlements of customers' AR.
- Monitor and triage tickets submitted to Revenue Operations.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities (journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, etc.).
- Investigate and address reconciliation issues, seeking support when necessary.
- Demonstrate curiosity in exploring product innovation opportunities.
- Develop skills in using internal tools, processes, and financial concepts.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to resolve issues.
- Maintain and update documentation for accounting and financial processes.
- Ensure documentation reflects current practices, system updates, and organizational changes.

- 1–3 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive in addressing questions or challenges, with effective communication to ensure timely resolution.
