JOB SUMMARY:

The Material Management Head is expected to maximize JNG potential through strategic audit of logistical management, Inventory Management & Report generation. He shall oversee daily warehouse and materials management operations while forecasting, controlling, and managing inventory and logistics. He shall ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing operational goals. Shall develop warehouse operations systems by determining materials handling and storage requirements, demand onsite vs supplier's delivery capacity and lead time, equipment utilization, gate processes, and delivery methods.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Ensure that the daily warehouse and logistics operations are operating efficiently, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, floor productivity, and delivery of materials to the different project sites, while adhering to the standard guidelines and procedures. (Able to minimize high value losses)

● Inspect equipment, materials, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary

● Review and prepare workflows, delivery projections, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet the company standards for productivity and quality

(Includes but not limited to Payment Request, Total delivered vs. Outstanding items ordered, Memorandums, Inventory management)

● Meet regularly with warehouse and materials management leads/engineers to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention

● Implement warehouse and logistics optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs

● Help develop and implement ERP solution (Inventory Management Module) to streamline reports and analysis

● Provide resolutions on escalated warehouse and logistics issues

● Verify reports of materials officers on violations and non-compliance of suppliers and prepare weekly/monthly reports – corrective actions to be cascaded to the concerned procurement department

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related course; Graduate of Supply Chain Management or Civil/Industrial Engineering is an advantage
  • 5-10 years of work experience in logistics and warehousing or related field; At least 3-5-year experience in people management
  • Experience in the real estate/construction industry is an advantage
  • Proficient with warehouse and logistics procedures, strategies and policies
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership qualities
  • Strong analytical skills, able to present strategic analysis (Cost Analysis and Inventory Implications)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels in the organization
  • Team player (willing to render overtime and help the team as needed)
