The Opportunity
As a Resourcer you'll support clients and candidates through the full recruitment cycle, with a strong focus on sourcing, screening and building talent pools that feed consultants and partner networks. You'll work in a supportive team, have KPI bonus potential and directly help people secure meaningful roles in the resources sector.
The Role Specifics
Candidate sourcing
- Find potential candidates across LinkedIn, job boards (Indeed, Jora), social platforms, and the internal database (Zoho One).
- Proactively build and maintain talent pools for priority roles and specialist skillsets.
- Cross-sell candidates into partner forums and internal opportunities to increase placement outcomes.
Candidate screening
- Review applications and conduct initial phone/video interviews to assess fit against role requirements (skills, certifications, availability).
- Perform structured screening and present shortlists to consultants with clear candidate summaries and suitability notes.
Relationship management
- Build and maintain relationships with a pipeline of candidates through regular contact, proactive engagement and direct marketing.
- Deliver strong candidate care (Day 1, Week 1, Month 1) and keep candidates informed through the recruitment lifecycle.
Administrative support
- Create and post job ads, schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and consultants.
- Manage the "talent" mailbox and calendar, ensuring coverage during leave or absence.
- Complete reference checks, background checks and manage medical/induction bookings as required.
- Upload and categorise communications and documents in recruitment systems (Zoho One, Google Drive, partner portals).
Working with consultants
- Collaborate closely with recruitment consultants to understand client briefs, priorities and hard-to-fill roles.
- Support consultants by delivering curated shortlists, managing submissions and tracking candidate progress through the ATS.
KPI management
- Work to defined KPIs (candidate contacts, quality submissions, placements) with regular reporting to the team.
- Prepare for and attend internal weekly meetings, providing clear updates on pipelines, candidate activity and submission outcomes.
NPA- Worldwide related tasks
- Scan NPA job postings and requests daily; assess which roles match our talent pools.
- Submit candidate CVs and job listings to NPA forums according to submission guidelines and deadlines.
- Prepare and attach required submission documents (candidate summaries, licences/certificates, referee details).
- Track all NPA submissions in the ATS (Zoho One) and update status notes and outcomes.
- Respond to candidate and partner queries from NPA members promptly and professionally.
- Negotiate and confirm rates/terms with partner members where required, escalating any conflicts to the consultant or manager.
- Enter NPA-sourced jobs and assessments into the recruitment database; allocate projects and tag records for reporting.
- Complete candidate reference checks and medical/induction bookings for NPA placements.
- Provide candidate care for NPA placements (Day 1, Week 1, Month 1) and regular client check-ins.
- Maintain audit-ready records in Google Drive and the ATS for all NPA communications and submissions.
- Report weekly on NPA activity: submissions, shortlisted candidates, placements, and feedback to the recruitment team.
The Goods that you Bring
- Previous experience in a recruitment/resourcing role with demonstrable success sourcing candidates.
- Strong interviewing and screening skills with an ability to assess technical and cultural fit.
- Excellent relationship management and candidate care skills.
- Highly organised with strong administrative capability — job ads, scheduling, reference checks and ATS/data hygiene.
- Proficiency with recruitment databases and job boards (Zoho One, LinkedIn, Indeed, Jora).
- Comfortable collaborating with consultants and working to KPI targets.
- Clear communicator, confident in phone and virtual interactions.
