Job Summary

The role ensures effective communication, supports community development initiatives, and addresses social concerns related to the plantation's activities. The officer plays a key role in promoting the company's image and ensuring responsible and sustainable plantation practices in collaboration with local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact point between the plantation and local communities, government units, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate open dialogue and proactively address community concerns, grievances, and feedback.
  • Develop and implement community engagement and social responsibility programs aligned with the company's values.
  • Organize community consultations, outreach activities, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor socio-economic conditions in nearby communities and recommend appropriate interventions or projects.
  • Support conflict resolution and ensure issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, environmental regulations, and community engagement standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on community relations activities and social impact initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Public Relations, or related fields.
  • With 5 years of relevant experience in community relations, preferably in agriculture, plantation, or rural development sectors.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups.
  • Knowledge of community development practices, local governance, and environmental compliance.
  • Conflict management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to be field-based and travel within plantation sites and nearby communities.
  • Proficiency in report writing, stakeholder engagement, and community project management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php70, Php100,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bislig (Surigao del Sur, Caraga): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
