Job Summary

The role ensures effective communication, supports community development initiatives, and addresses social concerns related to the plantation's activities. The officer plays a key role in promoting the company's image and ensuring responsible and sustainable plantation practices in collaboration with local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the main contact point between the plantation and local communities, government units, and stakeholders.

· Facilitate open dialogue and proactively address community concerns, grievances, and feedback.

· Develop and implement community engagement and social responsibility programs aligned with the company's values.

· Organize community consultations, outreach activities, and stakeholder meetings.

· Monitor socio-economic conditions in nearby communities and recommend appropriate interventions or projects.

· Support conflict resolution and ensure issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

· Ensure compliance with local laws, environmental regulations, and community engagement standards.

· Prepare regular reports on community relations activities and social impact initiatives.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Public Relations, or related fields.

· With 5 years of relevant experience in community relations, preferably in agriculture, plantation, or rural development sectors.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups.

Knowledge of community development practices, local governance, and environmental compliance.
