Job Summary

The role ensures effective communication, supports community development initiatives, and addresses social concerns related to the plantation's activities. The officer plays a key role in promoting the company's image and ensuring responsible and sustainable plantation practices in collaboration with local stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main contact point between the plantation and local communities, government units, and stakeholders.

Facilitate open dialogue and proactively address community concerns, grievances, and feedback.

Develop and implement community engagement and social responsibility programs aligned with the company's values.

Organize community consultations, outreach activities, and stakeholder meetings.

Monitor socio-economic conditions in nearby communities and recommend appropriate interventions or projects.

Support conflict resolution and ensure issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

Ensure compliance with local laws, environmental regulations, and community engagement standards.

Prepare regular reports on community relations activities and social impact initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Public Relations, or related fields.

With 5 years of relevant experience in community relations, preferably in agriculture, plantation, or rural development sectors.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse community groups.

Knowledge of community development practices, local governance, and environmental compliance.
