What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the daily management of warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods
  2. Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to identify and address discrepancies
  3. Coordinating with procurement and sales teams to optimise inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers
  4. Generating detailed inventory reports and analysing data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory management improvements
  5. Implementing and monitoring inventory control procedures to minimise losses and wastage
  6. Providing training and support to warehouse and logistics personnel on inventory management best practices

What we're looking for

experience in a similar inventory management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve inventory-related issues
  2. Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel ( Formulas, Vlookup)
  3. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  5. Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices related to inventory management
