JOB SUMMARY: (In a few lines, describe the over-all job or function of the position)

The QA/QC Engineer, is responsible for ensuring overall quality assurance and quality control of all site-installed electrical and auxiliary layouts. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the QA/QC Engineer supervise and implement quality standards, conduct inspections, and report findings to management and the role involves developing and implementing QA/QC management systems, coordinating with project teams to resolve quality issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

QA/QC MANAGEMENT:

· Develop and implement QA/QC management systems on site to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

· Ensure all QA/QC documentation is compiled, completed, and submitted before handover to stakeholders.

INSPECTION AND DOCUMENTATION:

· Prepare Inspection Request Forms (IRFs) and coordinate inspections with relevant stakeholders to verify compliance with quality standards.

· Control and manage all nonconformance reports (NCRs) and undertake remedial actions to address quality issues.

QUALITY CONTROL PROCEDURE:

· Complete site quality control instructions and initiate remedial responses as necessary to maintain quality standards.

· Monitor and implement approved Quality Control (QC) Plans, ensuring all activities are carried out according to established procedures.

COLLABORATION AND RESOLUTION:

· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

· Coordinate with site construction management on all quality-related matters to ensure consistency and compliance with project requirements.

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT:

· Assure all technical documents relevant to site quality control are current and maintained in accordance with project specifications.

· Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities for reference and reporting purposes.

SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS:

· Maintain accurate records of electrical construction activities, site reports, and documentation related to project progress, issues, and changes.

· Prepare regular status updates, construction reports, and progress summaries for review by the Project Manager and stakeholders.

PROFILE OF JOB / POSITION HOLDER

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:

· Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA/QC engineering or related roles, preferably in the construction or electrical industry.

· Proven track record of implementing QA/QC management systems and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

· Proficient in basic quality control tools and software for documentation and reporting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles, procedures, and practices.

· Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, drawings, and specifications related to electrical installations.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and management.

· Ability to effectively communicate quality issues, findings, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS:

· Strong problem-solving abilities to identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.

· Capacity to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and quality objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php28,000.00 per month
