On behalf of Geraci LLP, we are seeking a talented and reliable Webmaster & Web Designer to manage, maintain, and enhance multiple websites for our law firm. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and creative design skills, ensuring all sites remain visually compelling, user-friendly, secure, and compliant with California privacy regulations.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable troubleshooting backend issues as they are designing modern, engaging web layouts that reflect our firms professionalism and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

Website Management & Maintenance:

• Oversee and maintain multiple websites across different domains.

• Ensure all sites are secure, optimized for speed, and performing reliably.

• Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues, broken links, or outdated content.

• Manage hosting environments, backups, and SSL certificates.

Design & Development:

• Design visually appealing, mobile-responsive layouts aligned with brand standards.
• Build and update pages using WordPress and Elementor with strong attention to detail and user experience.
• Create new landing pages, microsites, and campaign pages as needed.
• Ensure consistency of style, tone, and quality across all firm websites.

Plugin System Updates:

• Regularly update all plugins, themes, and CMS systems.

• Test compatibility and functionality before deployment.

• Implement technical SEO best practices and performance optimizations.

Compliance & Security:

• Ensure all websites adhere to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
• Maintain proper cookie consent, privacy notices, and data handling practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet compliance and accessibility (ADA) standards.

Analytics & Reporting:

• Track website traffic, performance, and engagement using Google Analytics (GA4) and Search Console.
• Provide regular reports and actionable recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years in a webmaster, web design, or front-end development role (law firm or professional services experience preferred).
• Technical Expertise:
  • Advanced proficiency in WordPress and Elementor (required).
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with cPanel, Google Analytics, and SEO optimization.
• Design Skills:
  • Proven ability to design clean, modern, and professional web layouts.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma.
  • Strong visual sense and an eye for brand consistency.
• Compliance Knowledge:
• Working understanding of CCPA, CPRA, and online privacy regulations.
• Soft Skills:
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and communicate effectively.
• Two professional references and a valid criminal background check issued within the last 60 days are required for all successful applicants.
• Completion of intake paperwork, including submission of a valid tax identification number (e.g., Social Security Number, Social Insurance Number, or the country's equivalent), is required before onboarding.

Preferred Experience

• Managing multiple websites or domains for a single organization.

• Experience working with law firms, financial services, or other regulated industries.

• Familiarity with ADA accessibility standards and compliance testing.

Working Hours:
Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific Time

Pay: $1,200 + $55 Allowance per month
