We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Officer (Importation) to lead growth initiatives, manage key accounts, and strengthen partnerships in the importation industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in the importation and trading sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers, vendors, and clients.
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business growth.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and customers to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless end-to-end importation processes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with government regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and reports for management.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the importation, logistics, or trading industry.
  • Strong understanding of import/export regulations, documentation, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with CRM tools.
