Your Role:

  • Provide leadership for cost accounting and profitability analysis for assigned entities.
  • Support local finance and controlling units in cost accounting and profitability analysis.
  • Manage maintenance and posting processes in CO for accurate overhead cost reporting.
  • Oversee maintenance of cost accounting master data in ERP systems, ensuring compliance with global guidelines.
  • Handle escalations and manage KPIs (SLAs, ticket resolution).
  • Perform advanced processing for complex/sensitive MA activities and provide necessary approvals.
  • Execute period end closing procedures (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in line with international standards.
  • Participate or lead period end close meetings related to Management Accounting.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for identified issues using continuous improvement and lean methodologies.
  • Prepare period end close financial reports, including Sales & COGS, Inventory, Balance Sheet, and Income Statement reports.
  • Contribute to Group Function reporting, R&D reports, and IT reports.
  • Seek out better processes to enhance operational performance and support process excellence initiatives.
  • Ensure qualification, motivation, and development of team members.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; a degree in a business-related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance with direct experience in full-cycle cost accounting and profitability analysis (in a Team Leadership capacity).
  • Experience within a Shared Services Center is preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP Controlling Module and Master Data.
  • Experience in cost accounting and Profitability Analysis.
  • Familiarity with SAP CO-OM and SAP CO-PA.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Shift availability for US time zone during month-end closing and project requirements; mid-shift availability for non-month-end closing.
  • For Internal Candidates: Specialists (Sr. Accountants) or Experts from different work streams with over 1 year in the role.
