Technical Account Manager

Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn products, applications, and market landscape.
- Perform account sourcing and data gathering via calls, canvassing, and research.
- Conduct product demonstrations, highlighting features, benefits, and value.
- Recommend solutions, prepare proposals, and handle negotiations with prospects.
- Follow through proposals by addressing competitor offers, budget constraints, and confirming delivery timelines.
- Prepare and submit eligibility, accreditation, and credit applications.
- Coordinate with sales support for delivery, installation, and training arrangements.
- Accompany technical and distribution teams during delivery and installation for NCR accounts.
- Monitor electronic procurement systems for government bidding opportunities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports (itinerary, territory updates, sales forecasts, account status).
- Participate in sales meetings, strategic planning, and performance reviews.
- Maintain organized records of client data, proposals, and contracts.
- Join trade shows and marketing events to represent the company.
- Respond to inquiries from prospects and existing customers.
- Provide feedback to improve products and customer service.
- Monitor competitors and industry developments to identify threats and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Perform other sales-related tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any 4-year course
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sales
- Strong skills and competencies, including:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Professional selling skills and strong account sourcing ability
- Customer focus, orientation, and service mindset
- Creativity, energy, and learning ability
- Sales drive, confidence, and independence
- Dedication to teamwork and collaboration
- Time management and itinerary planning
- Emotional stability, coping skills, and initiative for excellence
