Collection and Legal Officer

A. Business Requirements

  1. Ensuring the effective handling of legal cases related to past-due accounts.

  2. Involves coordinating with clients, external partners, legal counsel, and government agencies

  3. Manage the preparation and filing of legal cases (including Small Claims, BP22, and other applicable actions).

  4. Gather and prepare documentary requirements necessary for legal proceedings.

  5. Track and monitor progress of all active legal cases and prepare status reports.

  6. Review loan documents, demand letters, and affidavits to ensure completeness and legal compliance.

  7. Prepare and issue demand letters and notices to clients with outstanding obligations.

  8. Attend court hearings, mediation, and legal conferences when required.

  9. Initiate follow-up calls to clients for delayed and past-due payments.

  10. Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce past-due accounts.

B. Administrative and Corporate Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate and organized records of accounts, legal cases, and client communications.

  2. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy rules.

  3. Participate in training programs to stay updated on legal procedures and collection-related regulations.

  4. Provide administrative assistance and support during emergency or special company activities.

  5. Safeguard all company assets, documents, and confidential information.

C. Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Legal Management, or related field.

  2. Experience in collections, legal processing, or credit administration is an advantage.

  3. Knowledge of legal procedures (Small Claims, BP22, demand processes, etc.).

  4. Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  6. Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.

  7. Willing to attend hearings and perform fieldwork when needed.
