Job Description

Collector Responsibilities

• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up on payments.
• Negotiate payment terms with delinquent clients.
• Maintain records of communications and commitments.
• Coordinate with Credit and Legal teams for resolutions.
• Prepare collection reports and updates.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal guidelines.
• Recommend accounts for legal action or write-off.
• Field collector may accept the payment including the receipt
• Assist the Legal Team in filing cases for identified accounts

Credit Investigator

• Assess creditworthiness through income, assets, and debt evaluation.
• Conduct background checks via public records and social media.
• Coordinate with Credit and Legal teams for resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with policies and legal guidelines.
• Prepare and submit a comprehensive report for the Sales Team's reference.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Sales Team regarding accounts for Credit Investigation (CI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years experience in credit investigation and field collections
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of collection laws and practices is a plus
