About the role

Join the Philippine Red Cross' mission-driven team as a full-time Logistics Assistant based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. In this critical role, you will support the organisation's supply chain operations and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of vital resources.

What you'll be doing

  • Establish office administrative system and protocol; orients guidelines to staff and recommend change for improvement when necessary

  • Facilitate arrangements for training and meetings organized by the office.

  • Facilitate request for gate pass, authority to stay, mobile allocation/concerns and other requests from offices and services.
  • Receive requisition Invoice Vouchers (RIV) and processes them accordingly.
  • Coordinate Logistics purchases to concerned units and monitor Logistics office supplies.
  • Monitor the office budget and observes accurate accounting and internal control procedures in compliance to financial policies and requirements.

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics, warehousing, or supply chain role, preferably in the non-profit or humanitarian sector
  • Bachelor's degree qualification required for this position
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in using inventory management and logistics software systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision
  • A passion for the Philippine Red Cross' mission and a desire to contribute to its lifesaving work
