Well known in logistics & freight forwarding services in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, Orient Freight International was established in 1973 as a licensed customs broker and freight forwarder, specializing in cargo transportation and allied services. Today, OFII has built a reliable global network, one that has helped countless businesses soar higher than their modest beginnings. OFI provides superior freight transport and other related services from it's various departments: Air Freight, Sea Freight, Land Transportation, Container Yard, Customs Clearance, Container Freight Station (CFS), Logistics Management and Domestic Distribution.

The company's main office is in Makati and has branches in Cebu, Subic, Clark, Mariveles, Laguna and Cavite Export Processing Zones. It has also contracted agents at the out-ports of Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Bacolod, Butuan, Cotabato, Tacloban, Zamboanga, General Santos, Iloilo and Ozamis.

JOB OBJECTIVES

A. To contribute to the efficient operation of logistics by supporting shipment

coordination, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

B. To assist in managing end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring timely

delivery and adherence to customs and trade regulations.

C. To support the logistics manager in optimizing supply chain workflows and

maintaining high standards of service.

D. To assist in managing relationships with freight forwarders, customs

agents, and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth cross-border

transactions.

E. To ensure all documentation adheres to local and international trade

regulations, including customs codes, Incoterms, and tariff classifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in preparing and reviewing the correctness and completeness of

import/export documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills

of lading).

  1. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and brokerage

standards.

  1. Generate logistics performance reports and KPIs.

  2. Monitor costs and assist in budgeting for logistics-related expenses.

  3. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., finance, procurement) to align

logistics with brokerage goals.

  1. Assist in marketing and preparation of rates to clients.

  2. Maintain accurate records for audits.

  3. Assist in implementing automation tools or digital platforms to streamline

operations

  1. Supervise logistics staff and ensure adherence to company policies and

procedures

  1. To comply quality responsibilities defined in the quality manual.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education:

Must be a graduate of any 4-5 year course. Preferably BS Customs

Administration. Must have thorough knowledge of such fields as

accounting, engineering, finance, mathematics, management, psychology.

B. Experience

5+ years of experience in logistics or brokerage operations. Must have

adequate knowledge of Customs and Tariff procedures.
