About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Staff to join our team at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc' in Lipa City, Batangas. As a full-time member of our IT support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our company's technology infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, including resolving hardware and software issues
  • Assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, software, and peripherals
  • Performing routine system backups and data management tasks to ensure the integrity and security of our information systems
  • Monitoring network performance and taking proactive measures to identify and resolve any issues
  • Documenting IT-related processes and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technological solutions that drive business efficiency
  • Providing training and support to end-users on the proper use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and network administration
  • Proficient in using common office productivity software and IT management tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with end-users and cross-functional teams
  • A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to providing high-quality IT support
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
