Duties and Resonsibilities:

  • Patient Admission

-Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming and professional demeanor

-Gather and verify patient demographic information

-Facilitate the completion of necessary forms and consent documents for admissions

-Ensure compliance with all privacy and security protocols while handling sensitive patient information

-Coordinate's patient's admission and bed assignments with clinical or administrative

team

  • Information Dissemination

-Provide accurate and relevant information to patients, families,and visitors regarding hospital services, policies, and procedures

-Answer inquiries in person, over the phone, and through electronic communication channels

-Direct individuals to appropriate departments or personnel as needed

-Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hospital resources and offerings to assist with effective informative sharing

  • Administrative Support

-Update and maintain electronic patient records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness

-Coordinate with medical staff, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely admissions

-Assist in managing and organizing patient documents and forms

-Updating of Philhealth logbook

-Processing of health cards when HMO staff is not around

-Making of monthly/yearly report regarding admission status and MMHR

  • Problem Resolution

-Address patient concerns and complaints in a compassionate and professional manner

-Collaborate with other deaprtments to resolve issues related to admissions, billing, and other administrative matters

-Escalate complex issues to appropriate supervisors or managers as necessary

  • Team Collaboration

-Work collaboratively with fellow Information and Admitting staff members to ensure seamless operations

-Participate in departmental meetings (month-end/year-end) and training sessionbs to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures

-Foster a positive and supportive team environment
