Regional Human Resources Business Partner

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) supports Supply Chain or Commercial functions across multiple countries/markets within the region, acting as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees. The role drives people strategies aligned with business objectives, supports organizational capability building, and ensures consistent execution of HR policies and talent initiatives across the region. Operating in a fast-paced FMCG environment, the HRBP enables business performance through talent management, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with regional Supply Chain or Commercial leadership teams to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support performance, growth, and transformation.
- Provide data-driven insights to guide decisions on talent, structure, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior managers on topics such as culture, engagement, talent development, and people performance.
2. Talent Management & Development
- Lead regional talent reviews, succession planning, and capability assessments for assigned functions.
- Identify critical skills gaps and collaborate with Learning & Development to build functional capability programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives, coaching managers to build high-performing teams.
3. Organizational Design & Workforce Planning
- Partner with leaders to optimize organizational structures and ensure resource deployment aligns with business priorities.
- Lead workforce planning cycles for Supply Chain or Commercial teams, including productivity, cost analysis, and future capability needs.
- Support transformation projects such as supply chain optimization, sales operating model changes, and digitalization initiatives.
4. Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring fairness, compliance, and consistent application of HR policies across markets.
- Enable a strong performance management culture by coaching managers on goal setting, feedback, and performance development plans.
- Oversee complex performance cases, investigations, and compliance matters in collaboration with country HR and legal teams.
5. Regional HR Program Implementation
- Ensure consistent rollout of global/regional HR programs such as compensation cycles, engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, and talent processes.
- Collaborate with local HR teams to align implementation with regional standards and business goals.
- Monitor program effectiveness, metrics, and adoption across markets.
6. Change & Culture Leadership
- Champion organizational change efforts including supply chain transformation, commercial excellence, or system implementations (e.g., SAP, WMS, CRM).
- Drive culture-building initiatives that reinforce FMCG values such as agility, collaboration, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.
- Support communication and change management plans to improve employee understanding and engagement.
7. HR Operations & Compliance
- Partner with HR shared services and CoE teams to ensure seamless HR operations across the region.
- Ensure compliance with regional labor laws, policies, and ethical standards.
- Track HR metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Progressive HR experience and a plus on business partnering role.
- Experience in the FMCG, manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial/sales environment is strongly preferred.
- Regional exposure managing stakeholders or projects across multiple countries.
