  1. Supervising and coordinating the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  2. Ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings
  3. Preparing and analysing financial statements, budgets, and other reports to support management decision-making
  4. Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard the company's financial assets
  5. Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities
  6. Providing guidance and training to the accounting team to enhance their skills and productivity
  7. Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a finance or accounting department, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  3. Proficiency in financial accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  8. Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations
