Description and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff (Department Supervisors) and with Engineering Supervisor to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements Ensure inventory accuracy and regular reporting to the POM and or the GM.
  • Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure Proper documentation is strictly adhered to in the movement of all inventory items including Engineering, Service Center, Accounting, HR, Sales, Marketing, and others.
  • Ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration of inventory and other monitoring systems
  • Ensure customer service needs are also attended by Service Center and part of daily delivery plan
  • Ensure workplace housekeeping, health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
  • Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress of Department Supervisors
  • Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers
  • Overseeing stock control and processing orders;
  • Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met;
  • Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters

Qualifications:

  • Degree in any 4 year course
  • Years experience in manufacturing industry or equivalent education
  • Highly skilled on Microsoft Office product
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to analyze and think strategically
  • Keen on details, Customer Service Satisfaction (QA skills an advantage)
  • Team Player/Builder with good interpersonal relationship skill
  • Firm, neutral and with good leadership towards co worker.
