About the Role

We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily accounting operations of our company. The ideal candidate is a BS in Accountancy graduate (CPA not required) with strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.

This position requires someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of supervising accounting personnel, ensuring all financial transactions and reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with company and government requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Accounting Operations

  • Oversee and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, collections, payments, returns, and adjustments.
  • Supervise and review the work of all accounting personnel to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of entries in ledgers.
  • Counter-check credit memos, invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents before posting or approval.
  • Maintain organized accounting records for auditing and reference.
  • Monitor cash flow, payables, receivables, and expense accounts.

B. Reporting and Compliance

  • Prepare and review monthly accounting reports such as:

  • Sales summary

  • Collections and receivables
  • Purchases and payables

  • Inventory adjustments and returns

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports to management.

  • Coordinate with the external accountant or auditor when needed.

C. BIR and Government Compliance

  • Oversee and ensure the proper processing and documentation of all BIR-related transactions, including:

  • Cash Sales Invoice (CSI)

  • Charge Sales Invoice (SI)
  • Collection Receipt (CR)

  • Form 2307 (Certificate of Tax Withheld)

  • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all official receipts and sales documents.

  • Coordinate with government offices for permit renewals, registration updates, and compliance matters.

D. Collections and Field Work

  • Supervise and monitor the collection of due accounts from customers.
  • Conduct or assist in field collection when necessary to ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile collections and deposits, ensuring all are properly accounted for.
  • Monitor overdue accounts and coordinate with clients regarding payments and credit terms.

E. Leadership and Coordination

  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, ensuring productivity and accuracy.
  • Assign daily tasks and monitor performance of accounting staff.
  • Implement and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
  • Work closely with the Company Bookkeeper, and Operations and Sales Departments to align financial activities with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of BS in Accountancy or Business Administration (major in Accounting).
  • CPA not required, but an advantage.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting, with supervisory or leadership background preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of BIR documentation and compliance processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and familiar with accounting systems or ERP software.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and confidentiality.
  • Willing to conduct fieldwork or assist in on-site collections as needed.

Work Setup

  • Location: Brgy. Lapayon, Iloilo
  • Schedule: Monday to Saturday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Reports to: COO, CFO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php17,000.00 per month
