
Sales and Marketing Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales and Marketing Supervisor is responsible for leading sales and marketing initiatives to promote maritime training programs. This role involves planning and executing strategies to drive student enrollment, strengthen client relationships (shipping companies, manning agencies, and individual trainees), and build the company's brand within the maritime sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to meet enrollment and revenue targets.
- Promote maritime training programs to corporate clients and individual seafarers.
- Maintain and grow relationships with manning agencies, shipping companies, and maritime professionals.
- Coordinate with the training department to align offerings with market demand.
- Oversee digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including social media, email, events, and advertising.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Supervise and support the sales and marketing team in day-to-day operations.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and campaign effectiveness.
- Organize and represent the organization in expos, seminars, and client presentations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in maritime training, education, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of the maritime industry, including training and certification processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing tools and CRM software.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
