JOB SUMMARY

Safety professional with expertise in program management, inspections, training, and compliance. Skilled in incident investigation, documentation, and emergency preparedness. Dedicated to promoting safety culture, risk prevention, and continuous improvement in workplace operations.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safety Program Management – Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies in compliance with Philippine laws and ISO Standards.
• Site Inspections & Audits – Conduct regular inspections of sites, equipment, and processes toidentify hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliance issues.
• Training & Orientation – Provide safety orientation and training for employees, subcontractors,and visitors on safe work practices, emergency protocols, hazard recognition and conduct daily TBM for all workers on site.
• Regulatory Enforcement – Enforce safety rules on-site, take corrective action on violations, and issue warnings or stop-work orders when necessary.
• Incident Investigation – Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; determine root causes;and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety-related activities, and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies. (WAIR,AEDR, AMR, RSO).
• Project Coordination – Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety considerations into planning, design, and execution.
• PPE & Safety Equipment – Monitor the proper use, availability, and maintenance of PPE and other. safety devices to ensure compliance.
• Emergency Preparedness – Conduct emergency drills and evacuation exercises to test response plans and strengthen workplace preparedness
• Safety Culture & Continuous Improvement – Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability, keep updated with regulations and best practices, and actively participate in safety committees and industry forums.

Job Qualifications:

1. Preferably College, vocational, HS graduate with extensive OSH Trainings from STO or OSHC.

2. Complete training in BOSH, COSH, LCM, HIRAC, TOT, WAH and have Tesda NCII/III certifications like SMAW NCII, Scaffold, EIM.

3. At least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure construction, telecommunication, facilities maintenance, renewable energy.

4. Have a technical knowledge in DO 198-18/DO OSH LAW).

5. Must be Safety Officer III

6. Willing to assign in any project site location in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Contract length: 6 months
