Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer with valid Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training and TESDA NC II certification to join our growing solar energy team. The role is focused on maintaining high safety standards and ensuring full compliance with occupational safety regulations throughout all stages of solar project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce safety policies, standards, and procedures on all solar project sites.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements related to solar and construction activities.
  • Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and COSH-based training for all workers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor the proper use of PPE, tools, and electrical safety equipment during installation and maintenance activities.
  • Lead accident and incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans.
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and certificates in accordance with DOLE standards.
  • Support the Project Manager in developing and implementing emergency response and evacuation plans.
  • Promote a safety-first culture across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Engineering, Industrial, or Technical course.
  • Must have valid COSH Training Certificate (Construction Occupational Safety and Health).
  • Must hold TESDA NC II certification (preferably in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or related field).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or electrical construction.
  • Knowledgeable in DOLE and OSHA compliance, safety documentation, and site audit processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Physically fit and willing to be assigned to project sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
