About the role

As a Safety Officer at AQUADYSINC', you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees and contractors on construction sites across Metro Manila. This full-time position is essential in upholding our company's commitment to the highest safety standards and promoting a culture of accident prevention throughout our operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards
  • Providing safety training and education to all workers on construction sites
  • Investigating and documenting incidents, accidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and AQUADYSINC' policies
  • Collaborating with project managers and supervisors to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of construction planning and execution
  • Maintaining detailed records and preparing comprehensive safety reports
  • Continuously evaluating and improving our safety management systems and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with workers at all levels
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to drive continuous safety improvements
  • Relevant safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH
