Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Management: Prepare, review, and issue client invoices accurately and timely, in line with contractual terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance requirements.
  • Billing Validation: Cross-check billing data against project documentation, timesheets, and system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with Finance, Delivery Teams, and Account Managers to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or client queries.
  • ERP System Operations: Maintain up-to-date and accurate billing records in ERP platforms such as SAP and ProTracker.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure all billing practices comply with internal policies, local tax laws, and audit standards.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular and ad-hoc billing reports, dashboards, and billing status updates for leadership and relevant stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in existing billing workflows and recommend automation opportunities or enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the GCC Finance Team and Head Office Finance to ensure alignment and seamless billing execution across regions.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of billing operations, accounts receivable, and general finance principles.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP and billing systems, particularly SAP and ProTracker.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset to resolve billing errors and manage client disputes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Australian billing practices and tax regulations is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations.
  • Knowledge of Australian tax and compliance standards is an advantage.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CA Inter are preferred but not mandatory.
