Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience is often required for the supervisor-level role.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of inventory control practices, stock rotation, and warehouse processes.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, WMS software).
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and other reporting tools.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and cycle-count/stock-audit procedures.
  • Familiarity with RF scanners, barcoding systems, and shipping/receiving documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
  • Lead and train inventory clerks or warehouse staff.
  • Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
