Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team, specializing in rental solutions for the broadcast, film, and event industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, preparing quotations, and coordinating rental orders. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and approach potential clients in the broadcast, film, and event industries.
- Leverage an existing network of event industry contacts to generate new business.
- Research market trends to discover new business opportunities.
- Maintain and update a database of leads and prospects.
2. Customer Interaction
- Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, or walk-in.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable equipment packages.
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
3. Quotations & Negotiations
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and rental agreements.
- Negotiate rental terms and close deals in line with company policies.
4. Order Coordination
- Coordinate with the operations/logistics team to ensure timely and accurate equipment delivery.
- Track orders, clarify customer details, and follow up on scheduled returns or extensions.
- Input sales quotation in HireTrack System.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback.
- Submit regular sales activity and pipeline reports to the Sales Executive.
6. Market & Competitor Analysis
- Gather feedback on market trends, pricing, and competitor offerings.
- Advise management on potential product or service improvements.
7. Support Marketing Initiatives
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, or marketing campaigns as needed.
- Distribute promotional materials and support digital marketing activities.
8. Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance service quality.
- Share best practices and contribute ideas for better processes.
9. Learning & Development
- Continuously improve knowledge of broadcast equipment and industry standards.
- Attend training sessions as directed.
Requirements:
- Established network of clients, especially in the events industry, is essential.
- Experience in sales, preferably in technical, AV, events, or broadcast-related fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and negotiating skills.
- Ability to learn technical product details quickly.
- Familiarity with CRM or sales management tools is a plus.
