About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Comptroller CPA to join our team at Manila Bankers Life Insurance Corp' in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work for a leading organisation in the Accounting industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee all accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities for the organisation
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls and accounting systems

What we're looking for

  • CPA qualification with 8+ years of experience in a senior accounting or comptroller role
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations in the Accounting industry
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities
  • Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
