The Accounting Manager position reporting directly to the Finance Comptroller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is primarily responsible for effective and efficient handling & management of the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Section; primary duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Ensures the accuracy of transactions, prepares periodic (monthly, quarterly, and year-end reconciliation & closing of accounts balances, and timely reporting of all financial information.
  • Delegates, supervises, and motivates accounting personnel and improves the Accounting department's output accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develops the Accounting department's internal control and procedures, and ensures strict & consistent implementation of Company policies and procedures.
  • Develops effective inter-departmental relationships and assists in achieving the Company's goals and objectives by providing reliable and relevant Financial information.
  • Ensures timely compliance with regulatory requirements (including, but not limited to, BIR, SEC, and PEZA requirements).
  • Assists the Financial Comptroller and CFO with financial analyses, budgeting, tax planning, and forecasting.
  • Takes on an active role in ensuring the successful implementation of the ERP-NOAH system.
