Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Junior Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), and supporting the company's overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the company's Books of Accounts in compliance with PFRS/Philippine Auditing Standards.
  • Prepare and generate Financial Statements and related reports within agreed timelines, formats, and requirements.
  • Manage the company's Fixed Assets Lapsing Schedule, including recording of acquisitions and disposals.
  • Prepare and post adjusting journal entries as needed.
  • Develop detailed schedules for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
  • Conduct Variance Analysis and provide insights to management.
  • Prepare monthly financial presentations for management review.
  • Ensure accounting compliance with BIR registrations, issuances, and filings.
  • Act as the point of contact for year-end external audit examinations and coordinate to resolve audit-related issues.
  • Finalize audit requirements and ensure completion within deadlines.
  • Provide support in the creation and implementation of accounting and finance policies and procedures aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or Accounting Technology.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting, particularly with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Statement preparation.
  • Hands-on experience using Xero accounting software is a must.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Knowledgeable in financial closing and reporting, bank reconciliation, data entry, and tax filing/compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Can start ASAP
  • Willing to work ONSITE.
