Job Overview

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations and supporting the full employee lifecycle. This role provides guidance on HR policies, ensures compliance with labor laws, and partners with management to support organizational goals. The HR Generalist acts as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related matters and contributes to building a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the talent acquisition processes, including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Support performance management and employee development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
  • Assist in payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and workplace culture development.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Contribute to HR reporting, metrics, and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree in Social Science/Sociology, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
  • 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office, and payroll/benefits platforms.
  • With Excellent people management skills.
