The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing sales within an assigned territory. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, maintaining strong customer relationships, and implementing company sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and grow sales within the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Identify new market opportunities and generate new customers
- Present, promote, and sell company products or services to customers
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Conduct regular field visits, product presentations, and negotiations
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the territory
- Prepare sales forecasts, activity reports, and territory performance updates
- Ensure timely collection of payments and proper documentation
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth operations
- Handle customer concerns and provide after-sales support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- At least 1–2 years of experience in field sales or territory management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and selling skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Willing to do fieldwork and travel within assigned territory
- Basic knowledge of MS Office or sales reporting tools
- Valid driver's license (if applicable)
