Senior Facade Designer

Job Description and Job Responsibilities

As Senior Façade Designer/Job Captain, your main responsibility is to be able to work on projects that will be assigned to you and manage a support team of junior façade designers in the preparation of Shop Drawings, Assembly and Fabrication Drawings, Material Take-Off and Cutting List. In some cases, you might have to handle the project engineering details single handedly.

Respond to Clients on their technical queries and attend meetings, if necessary, through face to face or virtual meetings or email. Any commitments to Clients should be within the Principles of the Company and should be delivered on or before commitment dates.

Façade Systems used in each project should be carefully studied and structurally calculated making sure that we can deliver a sound installation. All specifications should be indicated on the installation drawing, including torque requirements, etc. Should there be a complicated detail that requires proper execution by the project management, it should be deliberately advised in writing and acknowledge by them

Should be capable of handling one (1) or more project assignments depending on the magnitude and complexities of scope of works. Each designer under your supervision and guidance, shall be able to prepare and work on the following:

• Preparation of comprehensive and detailed Shop Drawings
• Preparation of Fabrication and Assembly Drawings
• Complete Material Take-off list with complete Specifications and Finishes
• Aluminum and Glass Cutting List
• Attend Design and Coordination Meeting with Client wherever is required
• Maintain and organize filing system of all project assignment in an orderly Manner in the company's server.
• Coordinate with Project Management and other related department such as QS, Procurement and Production as the need arises due to some complexities of details or material specifications, fabrication and/or machining, or assembly. Organized coordination meeting if necessary.
• Capable to prepare or render 3D perspective on .complicated details.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Should be able to handle multiple Projects, such as but not limited to: High Rise Office Building, High End Residential Building, High End Hotel Buildings, Commercial buildings, Hospitals, Museum, etc.
• Coordinate with the Architectural Design Manager should you encounter critical issues pertaining to the Projects on hand that is beyond your limit to make decisions, especially if it involves monetary impact on your design as the company is monitoring project budget throughout the duration of Project from start to completion. Furthermore, should you by any chance encounter any error or flaws on your design, please make it known to the management and how you propose to solve it.

Qualifications

• BS Architecture Graduate
• Licensed architect is required
• Must be knowledgeable in Glass & Aluminum works.
• 3-5 years of facade experience is preferred
• With construction or consultancy company work environment experience.
• Well versed in using AutoCAD/ZWCAD software for 2D/3D drawings. With software training certification.
• Mexico, Pampanga based and willing to work long hours.
• Great communication skills.
• Able to understand and follow workflow instructions.
• Must work well with others and willing to work with a team.
• Can work well under pressure.
• With long term goals with the company.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term

Pay: Php60, Php70,000.00 per month
