We, Hatch Coffee, are looking for passionate driven individuals for the Commissary Staff position for our main branch at Easter Rd. with the following job description;

  • Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning food items according to the specifications of the head chefs or kitchen managers.
  • Inventory Control: Manage and monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients, and ensure proper storage techniques are followed to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
  • Storage and Organization: Ensure that all food and supplies are stored properly, adhering to food safety standards. Organize the commissary space for easy access and efficiency.
  • Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following health and safety regulations. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas regularly.
  • Supply Management: Assist in the ordering and restocking of food supplies, maintaining inventory logs, and ensuring supplies are available for daily operations.
  • Packaging: Help with the packaging and labeling of food items for distribution to different locations or departments.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitation regulations. Report any food safety concerns to the management team.
  • Team Support: Provide support to the kitchen staff by delivering prepped items, assisting with special food orders, and helping with any other kitchen needs.
  • Record Keeping: Assist with maintaining records for inventory, food safety, and kitchen supplies
