Job Overview:

The Utility Staff plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the commissary. This position supports kitchen operations by ensuring all work areas, tools, and equipment are clean, properly stored, and ready for use. The Utility Staff also assists with basic food prep, receiving, and organizing supplies when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all general areas, equipment, tools, and utensils.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and cooking equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and manage garbage segregation in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Mop and sweep floors regularly and clean spills immediately to prevent accidents.
  • Refill handwashing stations, cleaning supplies, and sanitizers as needed.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries of supplies and ingredients.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a commissary, restaurant, or food production facility is an advantage
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit; and able to lift up to 25kg
  • Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene practices
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php15,600.00 per month
