Unit Head for Sales – Conglomerate Accounts

The Unit Head for Sales – Conglomerate Accounts is responsible for leading a specialized sales unit focused on acquiring, managing, and expanding business with large conglomerate clients. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, key account management, and a deep understanding of complex business structures. The Unit Head will oversee a team of Account Managers to ensure revenue targets are achieved and long-term relationships are nurtured with key decision-makers across the group's various subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities:Client Management & Growth:
Manage a portfolio of conglomerate clients and serve as the primary point of escalation.
- Develop account strategies for each conglomerate group to maximize cross-sell and upsell opportunities across subsidiaries.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships across business units within the conglomerate.
Team Leadership:
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Account Managers and Sales Executives assigned to conglomerate accounts.
- Set performance KPIs, conduct regular team reviews, and ensure execution of account plans.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives and revenue goals.
- Lead the creation of tailored proposals, presentations, and negotiations for high-value opportunities.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Technical, and Customer Service teams to tailor solutions for clients.
- Ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and customer satisfaction through alignment with internal stakeholders.
Reporting & Analysis:
Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and periodic performance reports.
