Business Development Head

About the Role
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Business Development Head to lead growth initiatives in government accounts. This role will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding market share, and developing comprehensive strategies to ensure sustainable growth and profitability. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team and work closely with senior leadership to build strong client and partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve government project sales targets.
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new government accounts, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key government clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Oversee workforce development: hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Continuously review and optimize sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Must be from a logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Manila: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Logistics: 2 years (Preferred)
- Shipping & receiving: 2 years (Preferred)
- Freight Forwarding: 2 years (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
