Job purpose

Business Development Director is expected to originate new business opportunities for RENOVA in renewable energy projects in Philippines.

Supported by Global Business team and other experienced functional teams of the company, Business Development Director will lead the project origination team, cultivate a relationship with the senior management of key industry players of the market, originate project and partnership opportunities, and close the negotiation and transaction, as well as lead investment decision process with investment committee and Board of Directors.

Business Development Director reports to Country Head of Renova Renewable Energy Philippines Inc.

Experience Required (Must)

'- A strong desire to contribute to solving the global environmental issues and to the renewable energy industry;
- Alignment with company mission and vision;
- At least 5 years of working experience in or for IPP and/or infrastructure sector in Philippines with hands-on project origination experience as principal and/or advisor,
- Hands-on experience in project development through the life-cycle of the project;
- Existing network with key industry players in Philippines;
- Management experience of a team and/or a company in a multi-cultural, multi-functional team environment;
- Flexibility and versatility to adapt to constantly changing dynamics of the renewable energy industry and the firm;
- Ability to travel frequently to target markets;
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills (professional business level);
- Hardworking, "can-do" attitude; and
- Teamwork skills

Capability/ Experience Required (Plus)
