The Accounting Officer is responsible for performing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. This role supports the Accounting Supervisor in preparing reports, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdministrative

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of accounting policies, forms, and processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
  • Maintain organized files and update accounting reports in G-Drive.
  • Support in the setup and maintenance of accounting systems and records.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules and summaries of accounting transactions.

Transaction Processing and Reporting

  • Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
  • Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations, daily cash reports, and related schedules.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly accounting and financial reports.
  • Validate accuracy and completeness of accounting data before submission.
  • Coordinate with other departments for timely collection, disbursement, and report submission.

Government Compliance

  • Prepare and assist in filing government reports and compliance requirements (BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF, etc.).
  • Ensure timely submission and proper filing of supporting documents.
  • Maintain updated monitoring of compliance reports in designated files or G-Drive.

Support and Coordination

  • Assist the Accounting Supervisor or Manager in audit preparation and other financial reporting activities.
  • Provide support in monitoring project and corporate budgets.
  • Participate in improving accounting processes and ensuring proper internal control.
  • Perform other accounting-related tasks as may be assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php20, Php33,000.00 per month
