This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in public accounting IT, Azure, hybrid infrastructures, and M&A integrations. You'll be a key contributor as we scale.

About the Role:

Infrastructure & Hybrid Environment Management

  • Administer on-prem domains, Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO
  • Maintain and optimize hybrid infrastructure across multiple locations
  • Ensure performance, uptime, and continuity across offices and partner firms

Azure & Cloud Administration

  • Architect and manage Azure compute, storage, networking, identity, and security
  • Lead cloud adoption initiatives and drive our cloud-first roadmap
  • Manage Azure AD/Entra ID, hybrid identity, Conditional Access, and MFA
  • Support cloud migrations, resource optimization, and cost governance

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Align systems with SOX, GDPR, FTC Safeguards, and industry standards
  • Implement identity security, privileged access, and system hardening
  • Partner with MSPs, auditors, and internal teams on compliance and controls
  • Build IT documentation, SOPs, and governance standards

Advanced Support & Troubleshooting

  • Act as Tier 3 escalation for server, network, cloud, and endpoint issues
  • Collaborate closely with MSP partners and internal stakeholders
  • Lead root-cause analysis and long-term remediation

Project Leadership & M&A Integration

  • Lead cloud migrations, server upgrades, disaster recovery planning
  • Own IT integration workstreams for M&A: domains, identity, applications, security
  • Create runbooks, documentation, and knowledge resources

What We're Looking For:

Experience

  • 5+ years in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
  • Experience supporting public accounting or regulated environments
  • Background with Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
  • Prior involvement in M&A integrations

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, governance, networking, security)
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, hybrid identity
  • PowerShell/scripting for automation
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks common to accounting firms
